Robbie Stokes - Chef De Cuisine
  • MLA Asian Regional Final Black Box Challenge 2005, (teamed): Overall Winner.
  • Various international competition medals: 14 gold, 2 silver, 4 bronze.
RobbieHailing from England, Robbie initially worked there, and was senior Chef de Partie at the Michelin One Star-rated ‘Waldo’s’ Restaurant. Joining Burj Al Arab in 2001, he is currently Chef De Cuisine at Al Muntaha restaurant.

Always keen to expand his knowledge, Robbie continues to travel to countries including France, Germany, Monaco and the USA, picking up experience and an enviable array of awards on the way.

Cooking with great produce is the key to great food all over the world. Not complicating dishes with more than six flavours, allows the guest to taste and enjoy what you have prepared.’

Toby Pfister - Sous Chef

Toby Pfister, Sous ChefToby started as a chef in his native Germany, and has worked in London at the renowned Anton Mosimann’s Private Dining Club. Coming to the Burj Al Arab in 2002, he was initially part of the team at Al Mahara Restaurant. Currently Sous Chef in the Main Kitchen, his responsibilities also include banqueting and private dining.

Toby’s ambition is to be an Executive Chef leading his own team.
